Tamil Film Festival in Norway – 2010

Tamil Cinema has progressed considerably in the last two decades and competing with World Cinema on quality of production and content. 

Tamil cinema today is a benchmark for several other film industries in India.

To celebrate the progress of Tamil Cinema and to give an opportunity to see the latest films in theatres, we are happy to organize a festival under the name “Tamil Film Festival 2010” in Norway. 

This will be an annual feature subject to the response of the Tamil people of Norway for this festival.

We are planning to screen the following highly acclaimed Tamil films during the Festival between 6th February to 9th February 2010 at Filmenshus Kino , Oslo, Norway.

Velkommen til  Tamil film festival 2010 for første gang!
VN Music Dreams er stolte av å kunne presentere fire dager med god filmer, konserter og filmgjester på filmenshus i Oslo. Vi inviterer alle som er interesert i sørindiske ( tamilske) filmer om å komme på filmvisningene. Hele 13 gode og nye filmer er valgt ut til visning.

Billettsalget starter onsdag 20.Januar.

Cinemateket: Denne kinoen ligger på Filmenshus i Dronningens gata 16. Filmenshus kino starter salg av billetter og festivalkort i deres billettluke fra og med tirsdag 26.Januar kl. 17.00.

Billettluka er åpen i tidsrommet 17.30 - 21.00 tirsdag - fredag, samt:
Lørdag  30.Jan: 12.00 - 20.00
Søndag 31.Jan: 13.00 - 21.00

Mandag 1.Feb: Stengt.

På de aktuelle visningsdagene åpner billettsalget en time før første forestilling.

Billettpriser:
Festivalkortet koster kr.850,-, og gir adgang til å ta ut en billett til hver forestilling.
Enkeltbilletter selges for kr.85,- (voksne) og kr.65,- (barn: 3-12 år ).

Det er ikke salg av billetter på Internett, og ingen telefonbestilling på kino.

Avsluttningsfest med regisører tilstedet er inkludert i festivalkort. Det blir en avsluttningsfest på 09.Feb kl 20.00 på en restuarant i Oslo(mer info kommer seinere). For andre deltakere blir det entre på kr.150,- .

På Tancred kino sal er det 195 plasser og Lillebil, 68 plasser.

VN Music Dreams proudly presents Tamizh Movie KADHAL KADITHAM  released on 02.02.2008 in Oslo, Norway.  Kadhal Kaditham movie will hit on the screen very soon in other countries.

VN Music Dreams proudly presents it's Second Tamizh music album KADHAL MOZHI A Language of Love  released on 14.05.2006 in Oslo, Norway.

VN Music Dreams proudly presents it's first Tamizh music album KADHAL KADITHAM -A Letter of Love  released on 02.08.2003 in Oslo, Norway.

VN Music Dreams is the dream child of a budding entrepreneur of Sri Lankan origin, Vaseeharan Sivalingam. It was established on 30 April 2003. The aim of this enterprise is to merge the best of South Indian music into the lyrics of this extremely talented Tamil poet. Vaseeharan, who is based in Norway, has teamed up with Udayaa, an established music director from South India, to both educate and entertain Tamils throughout the world.

In this western world of Tamil Diaspora, who are rapidly losing touch with their roots, this establishment is trying to open pathways to keep the beautiful tamil language alive. It is trying to encourage and propagate an interest in young tamils in every corner of the world in their culture and language.

His virgin effort "Kaathal Kaditham" released on 2 August 2003. There will be a special event held at Soria Moria Theatre in Oslo, Norway to mark this occasion. The function will be graced by the presence of the South Indian director V.S.Udayaa, and his wife, who is a writer in her own right. All eight magnificent songs from the album plus some others will be sung live along with six dances.
